While on a fishing trip to Colorado, we were camping and fishing in a pretty remote area. I went to fill my bag with water from the stream and lost my grip on the bag and ended up losing it down stream. I messaged Danny the owner about purchasing a new bag. At this point in time they are not set up to produce extra bags. He had an extra bag laying around in his office and sent it to me at NO CHARGE! The day hiker is a great product! It's lightweight and easily fit on my fishing. All 3 of us who went had a day hiker and we all had no complaints. Great product and great customer service!

Of all the portable water filters I've tried this one takes the cake. It has a simple and lightweight design with an incredibly fast flow rate, and it doesn't get clogged up as fast as other similar filters. It's easy to roll up and throw in your backpack or even a jacket pocket, and the squeezable bag makes it easy to quickly grab some water from a pond or stream, and allows you to drink tap water no matter where you are in the world. You can also filter water for multiple people because the design allows you to pour water into several glasses or bottles, unlike the more common straw design which is prone to cross contamination.
